BMR stands for Basal Metabolic Rate and is an excellent tool in assessing the right amount of calories you burn just by being alive. Now here is the trick with BMR, when calculating your BMR you should know that if you want to lose weight your daily calorie allowance will decrease in value. There are two ways to use this to your advantage, the first is to eat meals that are lighter in calories and the second is to increase the amount of exercise you do – thus burning more total calories.
Calculating your BMR results is an excellent way to know exactly where you are and the diet route you need to get the weight results you want.
