Many people miss breakfast, usually because either they do not know how to make breakfast or they are just too lazy to make breakfast.
Eating a quality breakfast is one of the best things you can do for you body as eating breakfast will stabilize blood sugar levels thus giving you the energy to perform regular daily tasks with ease.

Here are 5 healthy breakfast options that you should try eating as they will give you the nutrients you need, the energy you crave and they taste absolutely great too.


The Power Oatmeal

This is an absolutely delicious meal that is full of fiber, protein and carbs. Make a bowl of oat meal, add 6 fresh chopped almonds, a teaspoon of cinnamon, a teaspoon of honey, half an apple – diced, half a banana – sliced, and some low fat yogurt. Mix it up and you have got yourself one great tasting breakfast. Add a cup of green tea on the side for some great antioxidant protection and you are ready to conquer any mountain.


The Crackling Rainbow

You are probably wondering where this name comes from, well it’s because this breakfast is made from eggs and fresh colorful salad. Crack up 2 eggs and fry them up any way you like, place 2 slices of whole grain bread in the toaster, then chop up 1 tomato, half a cucumber, half a red onion and half a carrot, mice them together with some olive oil and fresh lemon, sprinkle a dash of salt and pepper and voila you got one great breakfast. Add a cup of delicious red tea and you will have a super healthy breakfast full of vitamins and minerals.


The Holy Bagel

This is a favorite of many bagel lovers out there, as it is simple and timeless classic. Grab whole wheat bagel, some light garlic cream cheese, 150 grams of smoked salmon, some sliced red onion, and voila, you have got one great tasting breakfast full of omega-3 fatty acids. Aim to drink a delicious cup of strong green tea with this meal to compliment it with a blast of age defying antioxidants.


The Natural Wakening

If you are looking for a breakfast that is full of energy to help you during the day you have come to the right place. Whisk up 3 eggs and oatmeal, add some organic brown sugar or preferably honey, add some raisins to this and fry this baby up on a low heat making sure not to burn. Place a cup of low fat yogurt and on the side cut up one banana, one apple, mix them up with a handful of blueberries and 8 almonds, pour some orange juice on top for a nice dressing. Eat this big breakfast with a nice cup of earl grey tea on the side to help you digest and get yourself going.


The Hungry Woodsman

When working out all day your body is going to need some healthy protein and carbs to start your day off, to get the energy you need to work all those hours try taking 150g of lean steak and fry it up with 2 egg whites, place two slices of whole wheat toast on the side, and some sliced tomatoes and green peppers. Finish this meal off with a nice glass of skim milk and a black tea. This is a quite unusual breakfast, but if you like meat, you are going to love this breakfast.

Try mixing up a different type of breakfast every day, and always remember that when eating breakfast, something is always better than nothing. Start eating breakfast to lose weight and get healthy.
