Many people will go to dire measures to lose weight including skipping breakfast and starving themselves, this may work for the term but eventually they will gain the weight back and many times even weight more than before they started the diet.
What these people didn’t know is that by eating many smaller meals throughout the day, they will speed up their metabolism and lose weight in an effective manner.
The reason that we lose weight when we eat many smaller meals is because human beings are meant to graze like a cow and not eat like a bear, our bodies are not made to eat a few huge meals a day, but instead our bodies are made to eat 6 small meals daily.

Eating every 2.5 hours ensures that you have a constant stream of nutrients hitting your blood stream, as well as it leaves you never feeling extremely full and wanting to pig out to feed your hunger. Your body will react by speeding up your metabolic rate, as it will think that there is no need to store extra body fat as there is a constant flow of food into your body. This simply means that you will lose weight, burn fat and have more energy (because you won’t be digesting huge meals all day long).

Usually aim to eat meals that are around 250-350 calories total, drink plenty of water throughout the day, and try to eat fiber rich foods as they will keep you feeling full. After you are done eating wait for 10 minutes before you decide on eating more as it take 10 minutes fro your brain to release the chemicals telling your body it has had enough to eat, b y following this practice, you will know exactly when your body needs food as it will tell you when it is hungry.

As you can see, you can eat more and still lose weight; it is just the focus on the quantity and timing of the food you are eating that’s important. So try eating 6 smaller meals a day to lose weight and have energy, your body will thank you as it is healthier than eating 3 huge meals a day.
