Due to the nature of the foods in this diet plan, you will be getting a good amount of healthy fats such as monounsaturated fats which will help increase your weight loss results. This diet takes place over the course of a month with a beginning phase where they eat between 1200-2000 total calories (depending on factors like bodyweight, age and height), drink half a gallon of a special water (mixed with herbs, citrus juice, cucumber and special spices), and eat the foods allowed on this special diet plan.
The eating pattern allowed on this diet compromises of 4x400 calorie meals every 4 hours. Many of the meals allowed (there are a ton of recipes for this diet that can be found on internet diet sites) are delicious and full of vitamins and nutrients. There is always a huge emphasis on using the freshest of ingredients and including healthy fats in each meal. You will probably be used to many of the meals allowed on this diet, the main difference may be one or two ingredients and the cooking method used in preparing the foods.
This diet is a great short term diet, and if you are interested in losing weight and not going on a lifelong diet plan, then this is the diet for you.
