Tennis is a great weight loss workout because it focuses on quick sprints involving your entire body, this means that you are really going to sweat when playing tennis and running fro that ball. It may take a bit of time to get your tennis skills up to par, but if you play a few times a week, you should have decent tennis skills within 3 to 4 months.


In terms of exercise benefits when playing tennis, you should see great benefits in terms of toning your legs, arms, shoulder and back. Tennis is also considered to be one of the toughest cardio workouts as it is non-stop action that will make your heart rate soar.


In terms of tennis being a great weight loss routine, this is 100% true as tennis involves playing against an opponent, this will motivate you to leave your house and make losing weight a social experience.
