If there is one habit that can be considered the hardest to quit many people would say it is smoking.
Smoking is a extremely unhealthy habit that costs the health care system hundreds of millions of dollars a year, kills hundreds of thousands of people yearly and is one of the leading causes for all types of Cancers and cardiovascular diseases.
Yet people still continue smoking and fail to pay attention to countless ads done by the medical association of American and other global medical watchdogs stating that quitting smoking will add years to a person’s life as well as raise a person’s overall quality of life.

If the health reasons are not enough to make you quit smoking, then there are plenty of other reasons to get you to quit smoking –

Financial – Smoking costs a lot of money
Hygienic Reasons – Smoking leaves you smelling horrible
Dental Reasons – Smoking stains your beautiful white teeth
Fitness Reasons – Smoking leaves you wheezing and short of breath

Try eating cold turkey, chewing gum, use the patch, squeeze a stress ball basically do anything to avoid having a cigarette, it may be hard at first but it will get easier as time passes by.
Do not sabotage your progress, whether it is a day, a week, a month or several years, never ever let yourself smoke again, it is 100% up to you to allow yourself to get back into the unhealthy habit of smoking.
